As we continue planning future family activities and our upcoming reunion, we are asking each family member to consider making a voluntary contribution to help support these efforts.
Whether you choose to make a one-time contribution, contribute periodically throughout the year, or make a larger contribution upfront, every amount helps. Early and ongoing contributions allow us to plan more effectively, reduce future financial burdens and put family resources to work well before reunion expenses arise.
All funds collected are voluntary family contributions intended to help cover expenses such as venues, activities, communications, materials and other planning needs. Contributions may also be pooled and managed to allow for thoughtful planning and efficient use of funds as we move forward together.
In addition to individual contributions, the family may participate in various fundraising activities. To ensure fairness, simplicity and transparency for everyone, all funds raised through group fundraising efforts will be applied to the overall family budget for the benefit of the entire family rather than being assigned to specific individuals or family branches.
This approach helps us:
- Keep the process simple and easy to manage
- Ensure fairness across families of different sizes and levels of participation
- Avoid confusion when multiple people contribute in different ways
- Work together toward reducing overall costs for everyone
- Build resources that can support future family activities and initiatives
Please note the following important points:
- Contributions are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible.
- This effort is organized as a family association and not as a nonprofit organization.
- Contributions are made in good faith to support family activities and planning.
- Family financial information will be managed transparently, with overall totals available for review while individual contributions remain private.
- No guarantees, returns, or financial benefits are promised in connection with any contribution.
Any funds remaining after reunion expenses will remain within the family fund and may be used for future reunions, family activities, scholarships, legacy projects, emergency family needs approved by the family, or other family initiatives.
